It looks like it lewpy.

Have you checked on the Register of Insolvencies whether it has been recorded yet?

Hi lewpy

Yes, seems to be. The trustee will normally send Form 6 to creditors seeking his discharge and 14 days later sends form 7 to the AIB. This should then be registered in the Register of Insolvencies.

Pretty quick work considering my discharge was 3/12/13. I did make my final paynment July 13 mind you!
To all those considering or having just entered a TD it can be the answer to your prayers(if its the right thing for you)Best thing i did, just wish i had taken my head out of the sand earlier!

Hi,
Sorry for jumping on this post but where about on the AIB site does it show if you have been discharged or not.

Thanks

Hi Greggy.

There's a link to the Register of Insolvencies.

You'll need to register to access it.

Thanks,
Just to understand correctly, my name would only come up on this site if if I was discharged after my 3 years of payments, and it would be in the protected trust deed part?
Thanks

These days trust deeds would be registered on this site from the start of the process.

I think they stay there until a year after the trustee is discharged.

Hi Greggy,

Your information will remain on the register for 1 year following the date of your discharge. After this it will drop off.

If you signed your Trust Deed when we still had to advertise in the Edinburgh Gazette then your details will remain on their website forever as far as I understand. Some people have said that a search engine search of their name brought up their details.

Hi David.

Is it one year after the client's discharge?

I thought it might be a year after the trustee was discharged.

Hi TDA,

Oops. Sorry, yes it's 1 year from the date of the Trustee's discharge and not the debtor's discharge.

I think my brain was more focused on having my homemade soup for lunch when I posted.
