Hi

Seeing as I have had no reply to my other message how do I apply to go bankrupt when in a trust deed? I have been bankrupt before in 2010 but this Wilson Andrews are taking the piss so it would be better for me to go bankrupt as my debts are mounting and not getting anywhere . Can someone please advise how I can do this ?

thanks

Hi Jml1983.

The people that answer questions here fit that in between their other professional and personal responsibilities. Answers aren't always going to be immediate.

I'm afraid you can't apply to become bankrupt.

This can only happen if your trustee first discharges you from your trust deed.

Best speak to your Trustee and tell them your thoughts. Maybe they would be happy to terminate the Trust Deed in order to allow you to go bankrupt?
