Hi

I am 2 years into a trust deed. The trustee got me to make a PPI mis selling claim using another company. The claim was successful and I thought because of the size the settlement that my creditors would be paid in full and the trust deed would finish early but, because the trustee took more fees for this work and the other company took just shy of 40% of the settlement it won't finish early.

Is this reasonable or should I be complaining to someone?

The trustee is entitled to recover justifiable costs for any valid work they do in administering your trust deed. Without a sense of how much we are talking about I have no idea whether you are likely to have any grounds for complaint or not.

I guess the answer is that if you feel the sums involved are unjustified then you should raise a complaint if you wish.
