Hi i signed my trust deed in october it was published in the Edinburgh gazette on 22nd of october i have made two payments and am due to make my third on wednesday but do far i have had no contact from my ip to say its protected is this normal starting to worry that there may be something wrong .

Hi Marieh38

I think you are more likely to hear something if there was a problem.

You can check the position in the register of insolvencies from the Accountant in Bankruptcy website or call your trustee for confirmation.

I'm sure it will be fine.

I check the aib register and it said no results found

I checked and there is an entry with a DOB of 28/2/75 which shows it being registered protected on 17 December.

Hi marieh38,

It's good to hear that your Trust Deed has achieved protected status. All you need to do now is complete the terms and you will be debt free at the end of the Trust Deed.
