I feel i had to come onto the forum in the hope if anyone reads this they will think twice about which company they entrust with their trust deed, as i have been through hell with wilson andrews. I dont want to put people off trust deeds as i do believe in the right hands it can be a really good idea.
When i started my trust deed i was at my lowest and perhaps didnt look into it properly as i wanted to get started quick as possible. I was told my trust deed would last 3 years and thats what i signed up for. A while down the line i was told i had to pay back at least 10p in every pound i owed so my trust deed had been extended until october an extra 7 months. throughout my trust deed i did regular reviews to assess my income expenditure, at no time was i informed that i had extra income however on recieving my final review i have been told i had extra income throughout the 3 years which now has to payed back resulting in a further extension to my trust deed.
I also have a car that they have done a computer generated valuation on for 1695 pounds. on hearing this i got a written valuation from a reputable garage for 800 pounds and they are not willing to accept this so i have to pay the 695 excess equity in the car as they disregard the first 1000.
To cut a long story short i feel i have been very poorly treated and at times felt threatened by this company my 3 year trust deed is now going to last 4 years 10 months please avoid wilson andrews part of the think money group at all costs.

Hi anniefun
I'm sorry things haven't worked out. As you say, the Trust Deed should be used to solve a problem, not create another.
It highlights ( Stop it, I can hear all you're collective sighs!) the need to take your time and ensure all matters are fully discussed and agreed beforehand. It should be a 36 month journey with no unknowns. If you take away any fear factor, it's easy after that. Honest
Mark
PS in case your wondering, I'm in Luton airport, so lotsa time to kill before tomorrows flight home.
