Hello
just new to this but been reading the forums for a while and they gave some good info.
am looking for a bit of advice/info my self i have just over a year left in my trust deed and so far i just feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel.. when it stays on your record for 6years is that from when it starts? is there also the option of being able to get a mortgage when i am discharged...a year seems far away i felt i could have had better options. i have no assest and my debt was around 7k.

The TD is on your file for 6 years from the date of cemmencement, not end.
Getting a mortgage will still depend on your circumstances. ie income, deposit available etc.
Re the TD, I suppose it depends what you are able to pay a month as ?ú7k does seem fairly low if you have a sizeable contribution.
