Hi I entered a protected trust deed in May 2016 I paid it fully April 2017. I was discharged a few weeks later by trustee. Two of my creditors did not claim the money back & they have now passed by details to Wescott services, what do I do about this?
Thanks for any advice

Hi Hf1998.

I think the first step is to contact your former trustee and seek their guidance about this situation.

Your trustee may well still be in place dealing with creditors, so hopefully it should be straightforward to get them to deal with it.

Hi hf1998,

Like TDA and Kevin have advised give your Trustee a call and ask them to deal with it.

You may still receive the odd letter like this in the months/years to come. If you do and your Trustee has been discharged then you can send the creditor a copy of your Form 5 Certificate of Discharge (make sure you keep this safe) and ask them to update their system and that you are no longer liable for the debt. It’s nothing that you need to worry about.
