Hello everybody,
haven't been on here for a while. I have after 5 years now been discharged from my Trust Deed....phew!!! It's been a long haul and lessons have been learned.
I am now in receipt of a personal discharge from KPMG and a letter from the Accountant in Bankruptcy re a from 5, can I ask you guys what do I do now?
I have both scanned and ready to send to wherever they need to be sent.
There are sooo many topics on here on this forum that I can't possibly go through them all to find out what I have to do next. I'd appreciated any help here.
I have noticed on my credit file with protect my id that some of my debts are disappearing because they have been there for 6 years and I'm thinking that this is a good thing.

I'd like to say to anybody still going through their Deed - hang on in there. The sense of relief is tangible and it will be worth it in the end.

Good luck [:D][:D][:D][:D]

Hi ambertails

Good to hear back from you.

To be honest, you don't really need to do anything as you have now been formally discharged.

the Trustee will now issue his final circular to creditors and this includes Form 6 which seeks his own discharge and this is effective after 14 days. Normal process is to include the creditors final dividend cheque in the circular and all things being well, the cheque is cashed, the trustee is discharged and then issues Form 7 to the AIB which finalises matters.

Hi ambertails.

I think you're primarily asking about your credit rating?

I wouldn't do anything at all right now. Wait until a month or two have passed and then get a copy of your credit report.

If there's anything on there that looks wrong, or which confuses you, let the forum know and people will try to point you in the right direction.

Congratulations on your discharge by the way!

Hi TDA

My first reaction was grab a bottle of something fizzy!

Thank you all for your replies.

I think I'll definitely be having some of fizzy bubbles this weekend for sure. It's such a relief and as I have said hard lessons have been learnt.

thank you once again [:)][:D][8D]
