Hi

I wonder if someone could give my some advice. I work in the NHS and my union of which I am a steward has balloted members on strike action. I am worried that if the vote is in favour of striking I will lose a days pay, I will not cross a picket line. I'm worried that I'm only 2 payments in to my PTD.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

I asked the same question a few weeks ago as my position is identical, the answer I got was it's really down to the descretion of your Trustee if they would allow you to miss a payment and then add it on at the end...

Here's a link......

Thanks for adding that link Porcupine, when reading AlphaB's question I was remembering that the subject had arisen recently.

AlphaB, you may wish to make enquiries with your contact at your trust deed firm. I very much doubt that you'll be their only client in a similar position at the moment so hopefully they'll have a response in mind for you already.

Hi AlphaB, talk to your Trustee, they are the only one who can give you a decision on this. I would hope they are sympathetic to your cause.

Shona is not currently posting in the Trust-Deed.co.uk forum.
