Welcome to the forum Barry boy.

It really depends upon what you do specifically and the attitude that your employer takes.

What exactly does your role involve?

Thanks.

Both me and my wife work for the same firm and are looking at the deed. She is a call handler in the contact centre and I work in the back office. I'm just a customer service administrator. Job is dealing with queries from financial advisers and ensuring there details and commission paymends are correct

Have you had a look at your contract Barry boy?

Is there any union representation you could talk to?

I don't have a copy of my contract unfortunately, i've requested a copy from HR. my wife's contract doesn't give much detail, just advises the checks will be done.

Yes there is a union present and I've asked them but they haven't been able to find much out, confirm anything yet.

Thanks, I''ll try to see what HR say.
