I agree with TDA, firms can vary, so make sure you have everything is clarified in writing before you sign anything. I would expect a valuation on your house~to clarify the equity; how much equity your Trustee will disregard; and what he is expecting to happen regarding your car. If they don't offer a letter to clarify, don't be scared to ask for one.

If you read other posts, you will realise how important all this is, so there are no nasty surprises later on.

hi prenticebaby, i have just had valuation on my property re equity before signing anything and hope to have idea soon re wether TD is for me or not.best to have everything done and everything in writing prior to signing anything.you just need to read threads here to tell you that.mind you my words of wisdom are not doing anything to quell my anxiety re equity so heres hoping and good luck to you.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'll keep you updated. Need to sort the bank accounts out then hopefully get back in touch with the company and take it from there hoping i'll be in a better position early nxt week. Good luck everyone
