Hi I was going to enter into a trust deed with Money Talk scotland, gave all information over had property valued and this was to be used as an asset onlt trust deed. Because i have an inhibition order on me Money talk scotland said they could not help and to try to sell myself. The company who took order out said if MTS contacted them something could be worked out. But they will not reply to my e-mails. What is the best way forward. I am going to CAB this week
Hi zante01
Welcome to the forum. Your post kinda sums up certain companies. If theyre not making money off you, the interest drops immediately.
I could bore you to tears with inhibitions as they are fairly complex, however the advice to sell your house is garbage. An inhibition stops you selling/transferring or remortgaging without the inhibiting creditors agreement. ie if you sold their debt would be paid from the proceeds. It's called a nexus diligence as it does nothing but sit there waiting on you to do something.
A trust deed will not cut down (stop) the inhibition, but there are still options available.
Could you provide me with debt details, approx surplus etc and who the inhibiting creditor is?
Regards
Mark

Should Zante01 wish to clarify my advice to him I will be more than happy to discuss the situation.I don`t think that Zante01 has reflected my advice, or his circumstances, accurately.
Mark, can I suggest that before you make assumptions and potentially disparaging remarks about other firms you get all the facts.
Thanks
Elaine
Hi Elaine are you open to negotiation over your Trust Deed fees? I would be looking for 40% discount?
You have 10 seconds to comply
Hello Ed209.
As mentioned in the other thread, where you asked a similar question, this forum isn't a viable or suitable conduit for fee negotiation. I'd suggest you approach some companies directly so that you can make a comparison about what is available to you.
Hi after reading this forum, I have now signed up for a Trust Deed with another of the forum's insolvency practitioners.
I feel I need to add that the antics of Mark McFadden had put me off for some time.
He seems very keen to slag off any firms mentioned in this forum, regardless of who they are.
Is it because Mark is bitter because the volume of Trust Deeds signed by your company is nowhere near as high as that of your competitors according to the Edinburgh Gazette?
You are stopping people from seeking help about their debt and in my opinion devaluing the product, scaremongering people into believing they are getting bad advice.
Hi DiscoDave.
OK. You've had your say which you're entitled to do.
It's interesting that you've taken the time to analyse the volume of trust deeds being handled by certain trust deed companies. I note also that you're based in Manchester according to your public profile.
As you've been reading this forum for some time you'll know that lots of the members here really have been on the end of bad advice. I fail to see how correcting poor advice would put people off taking steps to deal with debt.
Please note I'm not referring to Elaine and her company in this answer in any way whatsoever. It's a general observation having been involved in the forum for a long time.
Hi Discodave
I am glad you have found an Insolvency Practitioner you are happy with and hope everything works out.

Thanks Mark. for your Reply,Money talk Scotland had been very helpfull and did go out of their way to help find the right soloution after i had supplied all the information requested and this did raise my hopes of at last being stress free. All to be shattered which has left me wandering which way to go now I will contact you and try to give detail you have asked for but i am also going to CAB on friday.
Hi Zante01
No problem, hopefully the CAB will be able to assist.
As mentioned, the Trust Deed will not cut down the inhibition, although sequestration would. Let me know the info once you've spoken to the CAB and hopefully I can assist further.
Regards
Mark
