I am also in the 5 week waiting on my trust deed being protected, my first payment has been made and I fell so much better but I am still nervous and scared about it being rejected

Hi Faye and welcome.

Things should hopefully work out for your Trust Deed as the majority of Trust Deeds do get accepted.

If you are a little nervous or worried a quick call to your Trustee and they can reassure you.

Hi Faye,

I wouldn't worry it took mine 9 months to get protected.

Hi Bains.

9 months is a very long time!

Most proposals will be dealt with far sooner than that.

9 months is a long time for it to become protected. From the point you sign the Trust Deed it shouldn’t take more than 6-7 weeks normally.

Any reason for this?

Fantastic news Bains. All you need to do now is make all of your payments and you will be debt free at the end. The countdown begins.

Nice one Bains. Assuming it was all set up to be realistically affordable then that's the hard part done!
