Hi gibby

It depends on a few things;

The split of the debts ie how much does each owe
Any equity in the house
Realistic contribution each

I think it's unlikely your mortgage company will extend the mortgage, but may consider changing it to interest only to assist

Welcome to the forum gibby.

Are you on a repayment mortgage?

How many years are currently left on the mortgages, and what ages are you and your wife?

Is there any equity in your home do you think?
