Welcome to the forum CLAIR75.

I understand that releasing any control held over a property is a mandatory aspect of the discharge process for the trustee to undertake.

Hopefully Kevin or David can confirm whether this was also the case in 2010 - I'd assume that it was but things do change over time.

All in all I doubt very much that you have anything to worry about.

Hi CLAIR75

There would have been an inhibition registered but that will now be rescinded - in fact searches of the inhibitions register go back only 5 years as standard, so you've nothing to worry about.

And this is something I certainly DO know about!!

Indeed, inhibition expire after 5 years. They can be renewed, but if your Trust Deed was all done and dusted in 2010 then as trust deed assistant says, the inhibition will have been lifted as part of your dsischarge process.
