I'm about to start 2016 in the best way possible.
I've made my final payment and received my form 5.
Slightly irked that it's only now that ppi investigations are being done.
Still it's the start of a new chapter of my life.
Relieved and excited.
It's been stressful at times, especially when I was suddenly moved, without notice, to a new trustee.
I thought that was disgraceful!

Having said that my new trustee honoured all aspects of the agreement.

Can I say to anyone who is about to start a TD, stick with it.
It'll be worth it in the long run.

That's wonderful fizban - congratulations to you.

It's also good to hear that your new trustee honoured your original agreement, though I'm not surprised that it worked out that way. I recognise it must have been very unsettling for you however.

Best wishes for the future. If you ever feel able to share your experience with others here in the future I'm sure it would be much appreciated by them.

Thank you.

It's an amazing feeling. Just glad that it's all behind me.
Can I just add that I was very nervous of involvement with creditfix but unduly so.
They were hassle free.

Hi Fizban can I ask some advice please? I'm also with creditfix after being transferred from PJG Recovery. I calculate that my last payment is due at the end of Feb. I contacted creditfix to confirm this in November but the girl just said don't worry you'll hear when your last payment has been made. Did you contact them prior to your last payment. I just don't want any surprises and I'd love to be sure that next month is my final payment. I've emailed them twice now for contact details for my Trustee but no one is replying. It was Chris Parry then he left and I'm sure if was someone Fox but I'm not sure. Can you tell me what you did ? Thanks x

I actually overpaid by a few months.
I'd contacted them a couple of months before my final payment was due and never heard back so just kept on paying.
I eventually got a phone call telling me that I should have cancelled the standing order after making my last payment.
They can be slow in getting back but they honoured my final payment date.
I received a full refund of the overpayments.
if you're sure of your facts just cancel the standing order.

Hi Fizban,

I'm happy that you have finished your TD and that Creditfix honored your original agreement. I was also transferred at the same time and have a few months left...I now know to cancel my Standing order. Can I ask one thing...The worry for everyone was the equity in their homes. Can I ask if this was an issue at the end? Did they do another valuation on your home or did they simply stick to what was written into the original agreement?
