hi iwould like to know if my wife and i can enter into a trust deed as a couple or has it got to be done as individuals.

Welcome to the forum billymac.

Technically you'll each sign your own trust deed.

However, assuming you use the same company it will all be handled in a very joined-up and co-ordinated way.

thanks for reply. at present we are with a debt management company and pay them £50 per month. we have only recently discovered that they take 50% of this payment in fees. would this be the same in a trust deed agreement?

Hi billymac.

There are fees for trust deeds.

Provided that the trust deed is completed the fee doesn't affect you in quite the same way that it does in debt management.
