On the subject of the retirement lump sum, I'm afraid that it is very likely that your Trustee will insist that some, or all, of it will need to be paid to them for the benefit of your creditors. They have an obligation to seek to gather in windfalls like this should they materialise while you are undischarged from your Trust Deed.

I thought you had already satisfied your Trustee in respect of the tax rebate? Why have they changed their stance?

i have no idea why they have now changed tack other than they are now saying that there is no evidence to support my assertion? i am at a loss i spoke with my employer and they are willing to provide a letter stating that i dont receive any fuel allowance from them

Hopefully a letter from the employer should resolve.

I'd be more concerned about the lack of communication from the trustee.
