Hi,

Got a letter this morning from Tax Credits saying I have an overpayment from 09/10 tax year of £260 and this has to be paid back either at once or within 12 months.

As the trustee have already taken this into account as income previously, will they put my payments down for the period that I have to pay it back?

Myself and my partner no longer receive tax credits due to our income so it cannot be recovered from any future awards.

Sorry - the overpayment is from 10/11 Tax Year.

Your trustee may well allow a reduction in your contributions, but you may also find that they look to make up the difference further down the line
