I signed a trust deed on 25th April 2012 and it became protected on 12th June.
Although luckily I have only received phone calls from 1 creditor, I am still receiving letters from a few other creditors.
Should I forward these onto my trustee or contact the creditors to advise them that they should contact trustee directly.

I have had hardly any contact from trust deed company except when I have made contact with them asking for update during the process. Everything was done over the phone except a representative came to sig

*sign paperwork.
I think there probably would have been more questions I should have asked or information given to me but at the time I was just happy I was offered a solution.

Hi mummy2twins.

I suppose one answer would be to do nothing at all! The letters don't really mean anything now you are in a protected trust deed.

If you prefer you could either contact the companies to confirm the existence of the trust deed or forward the letters to your trustee.

I would forward the letters to the firm involved. This is simply so they can make sure that the creditors have received their mail, and will stop pestering you. If they dont know you are still getting letters, they will presume that all creditors have backed off.

I received letters for several months after signing my trust deed. I forwarded them all to TD company. Eventually they stopped
