Hi
Further to previous posts on here I applied for a Turst Deed which has now passed the 5 weeks in the Gazette stage. my IP wrote to me and my creidtors saying the 5 weeks had passed and IP was now going to put it in Insolvency Register. Despite this I am still receiving phone calls from creditors which I dont answer as its on my mobile but this has got me a bit worried. Surely they now know thst I am in a Protected Trust Deed or is there still some room for them to mess things up? My IP said eveything had went okay no objections but with the postal strikes etc I am getting worried.
Hi rockyroad
Don't worry it's more of an annoyance than something to worry about.
If the 5 weeks have passed then the Trust Deed will be registered as protected regardless of anything which may happen now.
If you receive any calls, spaek with your IP and have him call the creditor or fax them as this is harrasment.

Hi rocky road .
i am afraid to tell you that I kept getting phone calls for over a year! I had to contact my tustee repeatedly to get them to fax the same company repeatedly !
hi thats terrible!do you answer the calls. I really thought they would stop once everything was signed really annoying to look at my phone and see 2 missed calls from 0845 numbers.
Hi all
The calls should stop soon after signing. On protection of the Trust Deed, they have no right to speak with you as the matter is under the control of the Trustee.
In my experience, if we receive details, we call immediately and back this up with a semi threatening fax to the company and this 99.9% of the time stops all further contact.
