Hi

Not posted for a while, PJG client who was transferred to CF. To any one i same boat, everyhtihng worked out fine after initial worries. My post this time is a bit hypocritical as this time i'm on the other side, so to speak. A fairly large Scottish company owed me money and are still trading as basically the same company, after being liquidated. They are claiming on the one had to be the same company for history/trading purposes, though they are obviously not taking responsibility for their debts etc. Is this legal?

Hi Bruce,

So they've set up as a new company, with a different company number?

You can check this by searching for "Companies House Webcheck".

What do you mean when you say they are claiming to be the same company for history/trading purposes, Bruce?
