Hi, new two this so thanks for all help in advance. I have made 2 payments into my trust deed and should be protected. However I have had no confirmation of this? I have signed all documents etc but not actually sure if I am protected? Should I have been given some sort of confirmation?

Secondly I am also sill recoeving phone called and letters from my creditors, is this normal as I was told they would stop after 5 weeks. I have had not contact from my trustee since singing and just getting worried now incase something has gone wrong.

Thanks you.

You can search for your name on the register of Insolvencies and this will provide confirmation of whether or not you are protected (although you should receive confirmation of this from your Trustee)

It is normal to still be receiving correspondence from your creditors. Have you been updating your Trustee to advise that they are still contacting you? The Trustee will have written to them but you must keep letting your trustee know or it will be assumed contact has stopped.

As a general point though, if you are worried about your Trust Deed progress then you should contact your Trustee and request an update.

Voice of Reason is right - you shouldn't feel that you can't contact your Trust Deed firm and ask such questions or let them know about creditors still contacting you. They are there to deal with these sorts of things and to ensure that you are fully updated with developments.

Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone to your case administrator to ask for an update on the progress of your Trust Deed Allan27xx or if you have any questions etc. throughout the course of the next 4 years. They are there to help.
