Hi need some help. Have received the above which was delivered by hand to an address I dont live at any longer. The paperwork also refers to another address I have not lived at for 18 months and says something about jurisdiction? not sure what to do with it? I now live in Edinburgh and have done for 18 months and paperwork refers to an address in Glasgow? Also the debt was taken out in 2010 and I was paying £1 a month - all I could afford - up till about 2 years ago. Is debt still live? Apologies for so many questions?

Hi aminthedark and welcome to the forum.
If you stopped paying the debt 2 years ago then this should still be live.
Who do you owe the money to and how much are they claiming you owe them?
Also, In addition to this debt, do you have any other debts?

the debt is £2964 - I do have other debt that I manage this has come out of the blue I believe it was originally mbna but is now with arrow global.i have checked my credit file but nothing appears for either.

As David said, the debt will still be live - 5 years would have had to have elapsed since your last payment for it to be time-barred.
How much do your other debts add up to, aminthedark? And when you say you are managing them what do you mean? - are your debts likely to be repaid within a reasonable timescale?
