Quick Query....

My Trust Deed has now become protected, Yippee I can now start to relax and ensure I make the payments to my Trustee.

But what I was going to ask has anyone here ever been bothered by silent calls, over the last few days I have been getting phone calls but as soon as I answer the call they hang up, when I dial 1471 the number is one of my Crediters... Has anyone else had or get these calls and what's the bloody point if they keep hanging up........

Hi Porcupine

I can't say I've heard of this, however if it continues I would try phoning them back and asking them to stop, if it continues, let your trustee know.

A lot of callcentres use computer "diallers" which call numbers until someone answers the phone.

At this point the aim is to connect a human to the person who has answered the phone.

This can lead to a period of silence when an operator cannot be connected to the answerer quickly enough.

As Julie suggests you should try to get your details removed from the list of numbers being used to make these calls.
