Hiya all,

I am a wee bitty concerned. I am a former RSM Tenon client who like all the others were transferred to Apex when they took over.

My question has to do with my property. For various reasons my trust deed will finish next year and will end up being almost 5 years, between decreased income, approved missed payments etc..
I signed my trust deed with RSM Tenon Sept 2010 and was one of those that payed £500 to protect interest in my property at the end of my trust deed. At the time of that evaluation I was and still am in negative equity due to the housing market.
What I am wondering is... How will this all be dealt with by Apex?
Other posts are leaving me concerned.

Thanks

Hi Amerififer.

If you've heard nothing after all of this time since the transfer I doubt that there are any reasons for concern.

Hi Amerififer,

AS TDA has advised if you haven't heard anything now regarding any potential change to your Trust Deed and you paid the £500 payment to protect your property then I don't think you have anything to worry about.

A Trustee needs to have a really good valid reason for wanting to change something within a Trust Deed especially when it comes to someone's property. I would try not to compare your case to others with the same firm who are perhaps experiencing some problems at the moment. In my experience every Trust Deed is individual and shouldn't be compared to another.

The only person that can give you a 100% answer though on this is your Trustee. Give your relationship manager a call and ask them about the closure of your case, when this will take place and if there is anything else outstanding.

Let us know how you get on.

Try not to worry, Amerififer. The equity in your property (or lack of it) has already been established by a valuation and your Trustee's interest bought out by payment of the £500. There is no reason for that to change.

The team at Apex is in large part the same team that worked at RSM Tenon, including your Trustee, so I would expect there to be continuity in the way your case is handled except in exceptional circumstances.

As others have said, give your case manager at Apex a call if you would like some reassurance from them.
