Hello sunflower1.

You should contact your trust deed provider to run through your updated income and expenditure details.

They'll be able to advise you whether any change to your payment will be required to ensure that:

1 - The payment remains affordable for you.

2 - The payment remains fair to your creditors.

I have informed them of my new address but not that i am staying with my partner but have given them a rundown on what i pay from my wages as i pay half of all the bills in the house and pay money to my 17 year old son who has left school and not working and stays with his dad. I thought a trust deed was personal and would not affect my partner.

It won't affect your partner but if you are sharing the household bills then you may be seen as having more disposable income for your Trust Deed.

Glad that's over with....

Your trustee has to be told if you are sharing with a partner so that they can ensure that the expenditure they are allowing for you in your budget is fair, based on you being one half of a 2-person household rather than living alone.
