Was having a look on the web and came across this, will this affect my trust dead?

(link removed - news story refers to sale of a case portfolio by Invocas to Begbies Traynor)

Also having issues over PPI - do i really need to give a 3rd party mortgage & secure loan when there is no PPI involved? Cannot get hold of case worker, apparently it is yet again a new person (think we are up to about five) and this time in Edinburgh (I am Aberdeen) and I was dealing with the Glasgow office. Apparently the Edinburgh office closes at 4pm, so it will be very difficult for me to contact them directly.

I do not want to be difficult but......neither to i want to waste monies that could go to my creditors

Hi getingthere

I'm unsure what you mean by giving 3rd party mortgage and secured loan ( I assume you mean details) If it is details, then i am surprised (or perhaps not) that they are looking for this info as this should have been taken at the start.

I would have thought your confirmation that it was mis sold (if there was ppi) would be crucial to any claim and if you do not agree, then i cant see how a claim could be pursued.

Hi getingthere.

I hope you don't mind but I've removed the link you posted. It's not a problem, but we do ask that links to exernal sites aren't posted in the forum for a few reasons.

I think this might be an old news story from a few months ago? Have you had any notification that anything is changing with your trust deed?

There is no reason for concern if, at any point, your case is passed to another firm. That type of sale does happen from time to time but should not make any difference so long as you complete your obligations to your trust deed.

Thank you, i was not sure about the link, I am sorry to say the only time I find out about any changes to case workers is when i phone them with a query.

That is what I thought, i am not signing the form then and will return it to them with a letter, explaining why not, if i cannot speak to any one tomorrow.

I only wish i had found this forum before i signed but was so stressed at the time......only 6 months to go, approx then the dreaded equity will possible become an issue.

Hi,

this is the same situation we are in with invocas, received a load of forms regarding ppi, mortgage and secured loan, |I am really not sure what did you do getting there? I agree our case worker changes every time I phone, I have some very helpful and some not, we are about 6 months away from making a final payment, it has been a long road, but there has also been big lessons learnt.
