Anyone got any experience with them?

They are by far the worst of my creditors, recording the default a full 25 months after I signed the TD.

Reading a few messages here and on other forums I'm gearing myself up for a long fight...

They don't get much praise in customer surveys I've seen ScotsLad.

Hopefully someone will have some personal experience to share with you.

That's what I'm worried about TDA. However thanks to this forum and a few other consumer sites I'm going into this process knowing what my rights are.

If I haven't heard within 28 days I'll refer my complaint to the ICO. But I'm getting a tad ahead of myself --- they might surprise me. [:p]

Hi Scotslad

I hope you do not have too much hassle.

I got no result from any of the ICOs I contacted, despite writing then following up with recorded delivery letter.

I did get result from Insolvency Teams in each creditor (slightly different names depending on the owner. I was referred to them when I called the Customer Services team.

I also mentioned the Financial Ombudsman. Interestingly, when I was awarded compensation for problem rectifying the accounts, their letter to me told me how to complain to the Financial Ombudsman, so you may wish to keep that in the back of your mind. You can find the website for the FO by doing a general internet search. Not sure if I am allowed to post a link here.

May I suggests you keep a note of date, time, telephone number and names of people you speak with and note of conversation or what is agreed. Also a copy of all correspondence you send or fax or e-mail. It was those records in the end that resulted in compensation.

Good luck. You may find it goes without a hitch.
