found this site and hoping to get some advice

i entered into a trust deed last year, and have just had my first review. there is no change in my expenses, however i have recieved a letter back from my trustee requesting proof of my increased expenses, from the details of the letter it looks like i have included house insurance with my mortage payment and my mobile phone and tv licence with my my phone expense. But there is no actual inrease in my expenditure.

They have asked for my recent bank statements to do a full investigation. The problem is that I have not been paying my full mortage payment for the past 4 months, the reason being that I had several large expenses before christmas, bolier, car repairs, washing machine (was a nitemare to be honest) As I ahd no money to pay for these things, my mum agreed to put everything on to her credit card an agreed that I would pay her up each month. My mortage payments have been reduced to intrest only so that I can afford to pay everything back. I am worried that my trustee will see that my mortage has been reduced and make me pay more into my trust deed. I want to go abck to paying my full mortage as soon as possible, but im worried that I wont be able to do that if my payments are increased. Im on a tight enough budget as it is

Hi Pureskint, You should explain to your Trustee that the 'interest only'is a temporary measure and the reason why. It may have been better to speak to the Trustee at the time, but what you have done was probably done with the best of intention, and partly to allow you to continue with your contributions to the trust deed. As always, keep your trustee informed of your situation, and they will try and work with you, keeping things from them won't help.
