Its a while since i have been on the forum - but i note with concern the numerous posts with regard to PJG handing over Trust Deeds (seems nearing their completion) to Creditfix.

I am one of those - I have had no contact and I continue to pay my monthly fee well past the initial 5 year period of my TD. I have however, had my January payment returned - with a note from my bank stating the Susan Clay Trust Benefit Account is now closed.

I await to hear - has anyone any similar issues? I am assuming it is important i continue to pay the monthly fee even although i am past the initial TD period - I do not want to appear to be in breach of my payment schedule - hard as it has been for the last 5/6 years

Is it a direct debit or a standing order that you have set up?

Sorry to jump in but could I ask Kevin if it makes a difference if it's by DD or SO. I pay mine to Creditfix by SO and my payment is due next week. Should I be cancelling it as I've no confidence in the company from what we are hearing so far. I'd rather leave the money in my account until they get their head round what they're supposed to be doing. I'm afraid the money is going into a black hole just now.

Hi Bruce.

Something you can be very assured of is that your money will be kept safely.

It's kept in an individual client account. It also has to be insured.

So does CF now have control of the account that I pay into now then and not Susan Clay? And if so why does it look now as though the accounts are being changed over if that is what is happening. I know that's not been confirmed yet. Sorry, just trying to understand how it all works in the background.

I can only imagine that this was an integral part of the transfer of the cases Bruce (the new trustee having control of client funds).

Check with the office of the new trustee if you need reassurance though.

It might also be worth waiting a little while for Goshnearlythere's thread to develop. I'm pretty sure there will be no particular cause for concern and that there will be a perfectly reasonable explanation behind what has happened.

It has been a standing order - successfully paid monthly until this month. The funds have left my account on 5th Jan to the same account as they have been paid into for the last 5/6 years - then they have been refunded to my account by Lloyds City Office - the note on my bank statement with the regards to the refund - RTN faster payment DD ......... in favour of Susan Clay in Trust Bene Acc Closed.

I understand i was to continue to keep paying my monthly amount albeit past the 3 year TD term - I have now paid the same monthly figure for over 5 years - and have not heard anything from anyone until this has happened.

Hi Goshnearlythere.

What is the reason for the extension beyond the usual trust deed term?

You haven't been discharged have you? You can check on the Register of Insolvencies (via the Accountant in Bankruptcy website).

Hi TDA To be honest i don't know - the reason i think i have continues to pay past the usual deed term is that i did not have the funds to pay the balance (i do not know the balance and no one has opted to contact me at the end of the TD term - so bit of head in sand really as I have no clue what balance they would be looking for and terrified I can't find the funds to pay it) I know i did have ยฃ13k of equity to pay in addition to whatever balance there was - which was agreed at time of the TD being put in place - and i do have 2 endowment policies due for maturity in Aug of this year - the only contact i have had was a few years ago just after the 36th payment - when i made contact to ask what happens now? I have an email stating that i should continue to pay the payments and the company would be in touch to let me know what the final payment would be. I am still waiting. I have now paid 64 monthly payments (excluding the one refunded this month)

There should be a search function on the ROI part of the site. If you type in your name your details should appear.

Bruce is correct.

You should be able to search the register using your name.

Good, I'm glad to hear that you've quickly been able to clear up the bank account issue and that it will not pose a problem Goshnearlythere. I thought that would be the case.

As per my comments on the other thread you've posted on, hopefully the situation regarding the extension will be made clear to you soon.
