Rejection for revocation of debt payment

If the trust deed did not get protected then it would not appear on the register. Why don't you call the trustee named in the Gazette notice and ask them if they are still acting in this case?

If she is currently in a DPP then she should definitely be on the DAS Register. If she is not on it then presumably she isn't in a DPP currently. You could always call the DAS Administrator to ask.

This is from the DAS Regulations 2011:

"35. Where a debt payment programme is approved in respect of a debtor who has granted a trust deed which is not a protected trust deed, the effect on the trust deed is as if an award of sequestration of the debtor's estate on a debtor application had been granted as at the date of approval of the programme"

In other words, if your wife had signed a trust deed which did not become protected then subsequently entered a DAS DPP which became approved then the trust deed is superseded by it - ie is basically terminated.

Does this make sense or am I just muddying the waters further??
