Hi all , guess what ? , still waiting for my Trustee to catch up with recent events as he is issuing circulars which relate to the past .

The AIB have yet again reduced his fees in yet another trust deed , how does he get away with it ? if I was in business and constantly over charged for my services , I would at least be guilty of bad practice , and in the end is this not fraud against those who are in trust deeds ? . And in my opinion regulatory bodies need to be seen to be effective in their dealing with Trustees , my Trustee is able to give the rigid digit to the AIB for months on end , and only reply at zero hour whilst racking up fees for doing nothing in between with evidence to support such . He is such a feardie that he will not meet me face to face , is there something that can be brought to bear regarding face to face meetings under a trust deed ? .
Such as calling a meeting of creditors etc .

Hi pinalta.

I'm not aware of any way that you could force your trustee to meet with you personally.

Is there an arbitration service for such problems?
Could AIB offer facilitation or arbitration?
What about the Trustee professional body (cannot remember name right now)?
Would you have to take it to court? Which also begs the question, can you afford legal fees?

It seems mad that there is little or no redress for you and it continues. One would think there would be a governing body that oversees and can handle complaints or grievances. Even an organisation in the same vein as ACAS who will offer a conciliation or facilitation service.

Sorry, Pinalta. I don't know any official bodies like this. Have you asked AIB and the Insolvency Practitioners Body if there is such a service and can the IP be required to attend - or would it have to fall under a criminal/civil case in court and they are required to attend in court?

I am now waffling. I am sure you get the gist of it - indeed you have probably already tried that - given your previous posts.

I feel extremely frustrated on your behalf.
