I had to take 2 days off work for my daughter's eye operation. This has resulted in me being (unavoidably as I am a single parent) being paid £266 less at the end of this month!!! Is it an option for me to pay less this month towards my Trust Deed or does it have to be paid at the end?? I normally pay £200 a month towards my Trust Deed and this leaves me with absolutely zero cash to live on.

I finish my Trust Deed in August and do not really want to be paying it for longer if I can avoid it as it has been a long, stressfukl haul.

Josephine.

Hi josephine.

You'll need to raise this with your trustee so that they can decide.

I do think that there is a fair chance that if you skip this months payment you'll be asked to make that up with an extra month later.

You will be expected to make up any missed payment. Hope your daughter is recovering well.

I'm going to make a payment of £100. Will I need to pay the extra £100 at the end? Or are there special circumstances because my wages are not the same every month?

These are both questions that you'll need to raise and resolve with your trust deed firm directly josephine.

It comes down to what you have already agreed to and the discretion of your trustee.

The trust deed can run on a little longer to allow recovery of any missed payments but contact your company to confirm all this.
