hi all, i have recently finished my trust deed, shown as completed on the aib website on 14/1/13. I recieved a form 6 in december but as yet, have still not recieved a letter of discharge from my trustee. Is it normal to wait this long? Just worried as i cant start to sort my credit file out, until i get my discharge letter.
Also, i spoke to one of my creditors today to inform them, i will be looking to get my credit file updated. They said that they hadnt recieved the final dividend as of yet, so they couldnt do anything. Is this correct or are they just spinning me full of nonsense?

If you signed after April 2008, you should have received a Form 5 which is your discharge.
You couldprobably request another copy from your Trustee, however as long as its registered with the AIB, you should be fine.
