Hi Guys, I am due to finish my protected trust deed tomorrow after 36 payments of £221 per month which I have never missed, my salary hasn't moved in that time either. My trustee wrote me a letter yesterday 2 days before final payment to advise an extention of 3 months due to remumaration, this is for additional amdin fees which they have added and I don't know why!! Surly is wrong? I want to appeal but what do I say? Thanks John

Quite simply they can't. You agreed at the start for 36 payments and you have completed your end. The Trustee cannot seek additional payments to cover fees.
Ask him under what authority this is being sought.
