Hi, I've been in my trust deed 7 months now and I'm still finding myself with loads of questions and no one is answering them so I'm really hoping you can help.
My trustee and company keep changing, is this normal? I had one company initially, then it changed to another and another trustee, then I've had an email this morning telling me that a different company is taking over my now 'IVA' rather than TD and I have a different trustee?
I assumed that when I opted to enter a TD, I would have one company who I worked with and could come to with any complaints and would be able to reassure me. But now I have no clue whats going on.
My job and salary changed last summer, so I told the first company but when I called and spoke to the second company they had no clue and all the docs I originally sent to the first, are not with them. I'm finding this extremely pressing on my mental health, especially as my new salary is more money and so I assume I should have to pay more?
I've had a look through some of the other topics you've replied to and so I'm really hoping someone can give me some clarity which will put my mind at ease.

There are situations where a trust deed will transfer to a different trustee, for commercial or other reasons. Your new trustee's obligations however remain the same as when you first signed with the original trustee.
It is possible that your contribution will be due to increase if your salary has increased. I'd suggest putting all of the details in writing to your new trustee and retaining a copy of this notification for your own records. If any of your bills or expenses have increased since your trust deed began, be sure to include these details in the same letter/email so they can be factored against your salary increase.
