Thank You Mark.

My mind is now at ease. I'll give you all a shout back on Tuesday and let you know how I get on.

Cheers for all the posts

All done this morning in a quick manner. I was really surprised about how little paperwork there was, I expected a huge booklet so was quite surprised when it was only a handful of sheets.

I'll be assigned a case Manager in the New Year. As my IP are really busy they wont be putting my details into the gazette until after the Christmas period.

Managed to open a new bank account on Saturday there, all direct debits have been cancelled and utilities direct debits have changed to the new account.

They said the chances of my TD been protected were really high as i meet the criteria for everything so roll on the New Year!!

🙂

Hi Pasley1

Try not to worry about things - the period until you are confirmed as protected is probably the worst of the 3 years!

Tenon are a very good company to be with and are very understanding as long as you communicate with them. You have made a good choice.

I am self employed and have varying income each month so it can sometimes be hard juggling the good months to cover the bad months, but even although you have a review once a year and the payments may change, it should never be set at an impossible figure for you. Take comfort from the fact that you are facing up to your debts responsibly and your feeling of relief after becoming protected is amazing.

All the best

Glad to hear it went well Paisley1 - now try and put it out of your mind if you can and enjoy the Christmas period!
