I received confirmation that my trustee has been discharged and my trust deed is complete on June 11th 2018.
Trust deed no longer shows on my credit file and everything good.

Today I received a letter from PRA group informing me I owe them ยฃ1218.79 for a debt that was included in the trust deed.

Should I contact them directly or is it still ok to contact my discharged trustee to get it sorted?

Many thanks for any advice.

Andrew.

Send them a copy of your Form 5 discharge certificate - by way of recorded delivery in case you need to evidence your correspondence at a later date.

I'd contact them directly and provide a copy of your Form 5 - that should do the trick.

Hi andyj56.

A good suggestion from Voice of Reason.

I'm sure PRA will not want to waste resources trying to collect this debt once they're aware that it isn't collectable.
