i received a letter from my Trust Deed company advising I had to sign a letter to say their PPI branch were acting on my behalf.
my trust deed ended in August but the £500 property buy out still remains. I was going to pay it before 31/12/2012, as I've had to take a mortgage break to afford this.
However, I've just received a letter saying that I'm due a refund of £2,700 and that because I'm in a trust deed all my refund must be paid to them. Surely my trust deed has ended as all I've to pay is the £500 property buy out?
Am I now entitled to any of this PPI payout?
Thanks for any help....

Trust deed only ends when you are discharged and that cant happen until you pay the £500 equity buy out.

You wont be entitled to any of the ppi unless you repay 100p/£ of your debts plus fees plus statutory interest.

Sorry its not better news.

Paul

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.

Hello mrsmagahy and welcome.

Your trust deed hasn't ended if you haven't been discharged.

Paul is correct. Until you are discharged this type of lump sum will need to be used to help repay more to your creditors via your trust deed.
