My TD firm has started looking to claim back PPI now that I am 2 years into my TD. I received the forms to look over and sign today. They are looking for account numbers and paperwork relating to the accounts but I don't have any of this info as part of hiding my head in the sand was to bin it all pre-trust deed.

Do they need this paperwork or can they proceed with the claims without it? I've ticked the 'I haven't included any paperwork with this form' box.

I think they're chasing non-existent PPI on most of it as I had claimed on 2 of the accounts over a year before entering a TD and I definitely didn't have any on some other accounts. I have already told them about this over the phone and have put a letter in with the forms to confirm it. Will they still try anyway??

Glad that's over with....

Hi upstream.

They can write to the financial institutions asking them to check their records and supply details.

Also they have all the account numbers for anything to do with the trust deed.

Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!

Oh well. I'll just let them get on with it. At least that will hopefully be out of the way come discharge time. I'm with KPMG and they seem to be unwilling to issue Form 5 without having done all this first, going by what others have posted about on here.

Glad that's over with....
