Hi
I'm hoping someone has had experience of the above. I'm in a TD my partner is not but we do have a joint loan that's included in my TD. My partner continues to make payments towards the joint loan.
My query is what will happen to any PPI due regards the joint loan - will the entire amount go into the TD or is my partner due half of any refund as he is jointly liable for the loan?
Any help much appreciated as ever!

Domino

Hi Domino

Yes, your partner should receive his half share back.

Is it an RBS loan by any chance? If so they would probably offset the PPI against the debt in its entirety, which would actually be a bit of a result for you1

Thanks Kevin.
It was a Natwest so I'm expecting it to be offset which as you say is a good result for both of us really!

Thanks.
