Hi all

Its always good when these things work out.

Re the asset question, unless it was written into the Trust Deed, then the obligation is discharged once the debtor has been discharged. If an asset was acquired after that date then the Trustee could not claim an interest in this. That said, if it was a ppi claim and the application was made before the dicharge, then it is reasonable to say it existed before the discharge was made and would therefore be an asset of the Trust Deed.

I hope that made sense!

Mark

A massive thankyou to everyone who has offered help and advice. Definetely a worth-while discussion i think!

Barry, in the interests of fairness, my whole TD 'experience' with Wilson Andrews has been straight forward and smooth, with all staff always being extremely approachable and helpful. I simply raised a query with someone yesterday who i suspect felt that i was trying to tell them how to do their job, and appeared to be quite defensive.

This forum is an unbelievably valuable resource, one which I have referred to countless times over the past few years. Thanks again all and keep up the good work - you have no idea how important your advice and support is to people going through this process!!
