Hi,

Weve recently been informed that our Trustees will be claiming missold PPI on our behalf and that any monies received will go towards the creditors. We're only 12 months in to the TD.

I know to enquire about tax liability but what position would we be in if the PPI claims would total more than the remaining 24 monthly payments. Would this be swallowed up or would it count towards the money we owe the trustee? I do have a call on monday with them but would like a 2nd opinion before I get their 1st ๐Ÿ™‚

Many thanks for any responses.

Craig

Hi Craig

The ppi payment ( if any) is completely separate from your agreed contributions.

It makes no difference what the amount is as you will still require to make the agreed contributions.

I got ppi money and it all got swallowed up by my creditors and I still have to pay my monthly payments for the term signed for.
