A friend of mine who set up a TD shortly after mine with the same firm and not half as many issues....has been discharged - long before mine which I'm still waiting on 18 months after paying last payment I could go on lol anyway she has now had a letter from one of her creditors advising that she may have a PPI refund claim. I've said I think anything she got would have to go to Trustees, but she says no it doesn't as she and her Trustees have been fully discharged. If she simply doesn't tell them could they find out, or have they enough to deal with and wouldn't go looking.....
Chances are if its a creditor that was included in the td they will offset any ppi claim against what they wrote off.

I never thought of that cheers.
Hi WIKIKEE.
If the individual and the trustee are discharged then an actual PPI payment will go to the individual.
As Paul has pointed out, the lender may feel that they have the right not to make the payment.
And to add as yet nobody has challenged this in the courts so its debatable as to how legal this offsetting may or may not be.
