after reading the problems people were having with kpmg and getting their discharges because of waiting on them investigating ppi refund claims after they have finished contributions i decided to be proactive and get in touch with all lenders to check if i had ppi in respsect to any loans/credit cards etc every one of them said i did not have a ppi policy in place and they will send letters confirming this
my question is should i send a copy of these letters to kpmg when i recieve them and ask them to confirm as there is written proof there is no ppi to claim this wont hold up my discharge when the time comes? like everyone i dont want any issues at the end of my contributions and want to be able to look to a brighter future as soon as possible
will doing this help and make sure i dont have the long wait many other people have experienced, has anybody else done this? i should add i have over 2 years of contributions to go

Couldn't you just tell them any PPI you may have had wasn't mis-sold to you, you knew you were taking it, therefore you ain't entitled to reclaim?
Every end has a start !!
It's not as simple as that Timelord. Mis-selling comes in many guises, for example could you actually have claimed off the product, was it suitable for you etc.
Send copies to kpmg(recorded delivery).
Good work.

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.
i would just like to let everyone know i recieved a call from a really helpful girl from kpmg today about comments and questions i made on this forum recently
i had asked a couple of questions about contributions and possible car repairs and she just wanted to let me know about where i stood with these and confirmed details etc with me which was really helpful, also she wanted to let me know they are setting up a new team regarding ppi claims and that this issue with peoples trust deeds will be getting dealt with this year and that this means for me it will be dealt with and sorted long before my contributions end and will not hold up my discharge
i am really impressed that they took the time to get in touch and and explain everything to me, it certainly has put my mind at ease

It's good to know that KPMG are using the forum. It would be better still if they actually had someone comment publicly on posts regarding them as this thread is the first positive one I think I've read in the 2 odd years I have been reading. I'm with them as well and so now hoping there is a faster discharge process regarding PPI when I get to the end.
Glad that's over with....
