I have a question regarding PPI. I completed my PTD in April this year and received my discharge letter in August.
On Friday morning I received a letter from Egg to inform me that they were refunding my PPI charges as I had been mis-sold.... unfortunately due to me being "in" a PTD they would now forward the cheque to my Trustee.
Out of curiosity I'm wondering if anyone knows where that money will go now? My creditors have all been paid as far as I'm aware and my Trustee has taken their fees.
I had no idea my Trustee was filing complaints for the PPI payments!
Thanks [:)]
Hi melaniec
while you may have been discharged, its possible your trustee was not. This would allow them to continue with the claim. Although theyre leaving it a bit late!

Thanks Mark, I was just curious as to why if I've been discharged the money wouldn't come to me but that might explain it.
My husband was also in a PTD until May this year and we are still waiting on his discharge due to the Trustee carrying out PPI claims on his behalf. Its quite frustrating!

Hi melaniec
There was a post on this earlier. There is no reason why a Trustee should not proceed with the persons discharge if they signed after April 2008 as they can remain as Trustee to wind down the case.
