Hi TDA, I have posted before regarding a PPI claim. I was successful in my claim against the TSB. They informed me that they have sent the cheque to Baker Tilly. The lady from the TSB said that by law they had to send it to them but spoke to someone at Baker Tilly who couldn't answer whether they are due the money. Baker Tilly said they would investigate to see who's due the money, myself or them. TSB also confirmed the cheque they sent hadn't been cashed & then gave me all the details to chase up if I wanted. I would love the money but don't know whether it's a lst cause or not. Any advice would be great, thanks
It will depend on whether the trustee has been discharged or not. If the trustee has been discharged then they have no authority to deal with the money, if they have not been discharged then the PPI payment will go to the trustee for the benefit of creditors.

Hi TDA, yes I was previously with Tenon. How do you find out if your Trustee has discharged themselves ?
Hi TDA, I'm really struggling to get a contact number for Apex debt solutions. Could you share me a link or provide a phone number please ? Thanks
Hi TDA, I have checked the AIB website & noticed my trustee hasn't discharged themselves yet. I now know my successful PPI claim is away for good, fair enough. Is their a timescale on their discharge ? Also, only in my widest dreams but if I won the lottery would it go to the trustee ? I would just like to see total closure on my case. My 6 years from start date isn't to far off. Thanks
Hi p boy kk.
There is no fixed timeline for a trustee to discharge themselves. I think it would be best to contact Apex to enquire when they anticipate that this will happen - hopefully they'll now be getting back up to speed with this kind of task after all of the upheaval there.
