Hi
Just new to this we are in a trust deed and a friend of mine had been telling me about PPI claims she wrote a letter for me and I posted it away. The other day I received a cheque for a small amount small meaning small just after this we received a letter from our trustee about filling out paperwork concerning PPI do we forward the cheque to them explaining that we thought we would give it a try any help on this matter would be very helpful thank you.

Hi mags18

If you have signed a trust deed then the ppi belongs to your trustee for the benefit of creditors.

I don't think there would be any issue if you advised the trustee and forwarded the payment.
