Can someone tell me if a car I gave back and I am paying can be part of a Trust deed? I have around £10,000 in debt including council tax I am struggling big time and dont know where to turn , I have no one else I can speak to about this

Welcome to the forum Insomnia.

Is this a car that was on finance that you gave back? Did they then sell it at a loss which they are chasing you for?

If so, it could be included in a trust deed or other options.

There are lots of people here who will be pleased to listen to you and try to help you.

Welcome Insomnia, you'll realise quickly you are in the company of many insomniacs!!

Hopefully with a little more information one of the experts will be able to answer your questions soon.
As TDA says, if it's monney owed before you go for trust deed or sequestration, generally speaking, it can be dealt with as one of a group of accounts / debts.

Just ask - anything, anytime and any number of times, everyone else has (does)

Hi Insomnia,

Judging by your username and the tone of your post, you are certainly doing the right thing by getting in touch with us.
As others have said already, you can include this kind of shortfall in a trust deed, as well as your council tax arrears.

There may be other options open to you worth considering too - the first step is to contact an adviser, whether via this site or through a money advice agency such as a CAB, and talk it all through so that you can go with the option that suits you best.
